The Challenge
Explaining a highly technical mining process taking place beneath a Norwegian fjord was no small feat. The project, located in Vevring in the stunning Førdefjord, involved the extraction of minerals directly from the mountain with no permanent impact on the landscape. It was essential to convey not just the innovation behind the method but also its environmental integrity and complexity in a way that was clear, engaging and accessible to a broader audience.
The Approach
We worked closely with a remote and specialized team to fully understand the process, gathering key insights and technical details. From there we translated that information into a visual language, synthesizing the operation’s core mechanics into an animation that was both informative and visually striking. Our goal was to make the invisible visible while respecting the balance between technology, nature and storytelling.
